Getting Started with InterviewPrep: Your Complete Guide

InterviewPrep is an AI-powered platform built to help you walk into any job interview with confidence. Whether you're a fresh graduate or a seasoned professional, this guide walks you through every feature — step by step — so you get the most out of the platform from day one.

Step 1: Create Your Free Account

Head to interviewprep.scriptimiz.com/signup and enter your name, email, and a password. Signing up is completely free — no credit card required. Once you're in, you'll land on your personal dashboard, which is your command centre for everything on the platform.

Step 2: Upload Your Resume

Click Upload Resume on your dashboard and select your PDF resume. Our AI reads your resume and does two things automatically:

• Detects your profile type — Technical, HR, Sales, Finance, Operations, Customer Support, or Design Creative — so it can pull the right interview questions for your field.
• Generates personalised Q&A pairs from the actual content of your resume — your projects, your skills, your experience. These aren't generic questions; they're tailored specifically to what you've written.

You can upload multiple resumes (one per role you're targeting) and switch between them at any time. Each resume lives in your dashboard under My Resumes.

Step 3: Review Your Personalised Questions

Once your resume is processed, open it from the dashboard to see all the generated questions. Each question comes with a full AI-written answer. The answers are structured with an introduction, sections with headings, bullet points, and code examples where relevant — the same level of detail you'd find in a well-prepared candidate's response.

You can generate a fresh AI answer any time by clicking Generate Answer next to any question. The platform supports over 18 categories including React, JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js, System Design, SQL, Python, and non-technical areas like Leadership and Communication.

Step 4: Explore the Question Bank

Browse the Question Bank for 1,000+ curated interview questions across all categories — no account needed. Each question has a full AI-written answer with syntax-highlighted code blocks. Filter by category using the sidebar, or jump straight to a specific topic using the navigation.

Step 5: Take a Mock Interview

When you're ready to practice, go to Mock Test. Select the resume you want to practise for, confirm your profile, and hit Start Mock Interview. The platform generates 15 questions tailored to your resume and profile, then walks you through them one by one.

You answer by speaking — no typing needed. When you're done, you get a detailed score out of 10 with category-by-category feedback. Every past test is saved in Past Tests so you can track your progress over time.
